This is my first post on FTF, although I've read quite a few and have gotten good tips/advice from the forum. I'm using FTM 2011, and have just finished inputting the family tree of my great-grandfather.
Here's my question: A great-great grandson (Blaine) married a great-granddaughter (Teresa). When I click on Teresa's name in the People workspace, Family Tab, the Information Pane correctly shows her as a great granddaughter. But when I click on Blaine's name, the Info Pane shows him as the husband of a great granddaughter, rather than a 2nd great grandson. The Relationship Calculator shows both relationships correctly, and I understand that the 'closest' relationship is the default relationship. But is there any way I can force FTM to show, in the Information Pane, that Blaine is a direct descendant rather than a husband of a direct descendant?
Thanks in advance.
