FTM 2005 and transferering photos plus query

Hi all
I have FTM 2005 and its wonderful
I also have FTM 2009.

I though I would see if the back-up of my tree in 2005 would install into 2009...it did.
But..... no photos were transfered
So my question is is it me or cant it be done.


Next query is in 2005 to 2009.
In 2005 each person box to be printed out as part of the tree only contains TYPE facts that I have written in following each TYPE ie: Resisdence.. 1 Tavistock Hill, London.., Ocupation..Tailor and so on...this is very good. "So if no written fact no TYPE is shown"

In 2009 when printing it appears that if one box contains 50 TYPE facts every person box also contains the TYPE label even if nothing is written as a fact....not good at all
Can 2009 work like 2005.......is it me arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

re 2005/2009 queries

Hi Folks
Just to say I have FTM 2009 working perfectly now and all the data and photos are now in 2009 from 2005.
Useful to know that the "2005 back-up" imported perfectly to 2009 and that the back-up actualy works.

Still prefer 2005 for its simple layout and ease of working.

Hi Tony how did you get the photos across...my FTM 2006 won't send or the 2010 upgrade won't receive!! Am not at all pleased with 2010 layout.
