Updates causing problems on Windows 7

For the last few days I have had updates from MS and then when I next start my laptop I get a message telling me windows will launch Start Up Repair as there was a problem with start up.
Then when it takes the computer back to an earlier date the updates are removed then they all get loaded again and the same thing happens when I have closed down (Groundhog day)
Now these updates have been configured on my computer I need to find the cause of it anyone help with this, will one of these updates be faulty?
I am scared of it not opening back up at all.

I dont have windows 7 but I would try to install each update seperately and you should be able to work out which one is causing the problem

It seems to have sorted its-self for now thanks Val but I have just found another problem so will look at it tomorrow
