Techie help please. OH has a memory stick with a video on it which we can't play on the pc. On windows media player it comes up with an error C00d1199 and something about a codex. Have also tried on quicktime but still can't get it to play. I think it is an .avi file, whatever that is. Any help/suggestions welcome please.

Lesley passed away in November 2017.

Try VLC it should open It. I use this all the time.
