Has anyone ever used the program Paintshop Pro to open up census images in please?

Ewen if you mean saving them to PSP - then yes I have. Does help to enlarge and read any iffy handwriting... but then I guess you could say that about any ''photoshop'' type programme.

Thanks for the reply dubonnet lady, quite a while ago I must of had this program on my computer and I remember that when I saved an image the name of the file that I saved it as would/could appear just at the top of the census image ie John Smith 1851 Liverpool (this is what I would of named the file). I remember I had to do a lot of resizing to stretch the image across and down and I could leave a little space at the top for the name of the file to go. I hope you understand this, as I can see it but perhaps not explaining very well. Does this sound like Paintshop Pro to you, have you ever done this?
