Which is the best free cleaner?

I have been using CCleaner free edition but when I last downloaded the latest version I find when I do a clean that it is not clearing all the registry items. Does anyone have experience of a good alternative please?

I use C-Cleaner on both my laptop and desktop with no problems. I've never noticed that it has failed to clear all the registry.
