    Trying to upload a jpeg photo daughter sent me, but keep getting the message
    File has a false extension

    Think that means part of the file name is wrong doesn't it?

      can you see the file name in the folder? what does it say?

          I came across a similar issue when trying to upload a jpeg photo my daughter sent me. The message kept saying "File has a false extension." After some troubleshooting, I realized that the file extension might have been mislabeled or corrupted. Have you tried renaming the file or opening it with a different program? If it helps you, that would be pretty great. And when you've got it all worked out, you might want to look into the idea of archiving the photo. I found a great website called Picture Frames Delivered that offers a variety of framing options. Maybe they can help you with your photo too.
