  • Week 6 (Feb. 8-14): Valentine

Do you have any Valentines from any of your ancestors?
Or maybe you have an ancestor named Valentine. (I remember when I was little being surprised to learn that Valentine was a "boy's name.")
How about an ancestor that you wish you could exchange valentines with?
    Have fun with the theme!

Mine isn't ready yet. More research needs doing.

There are still far more questions than answers, but this week's offering is the fun and games of trying to research a Valentine (Frederic/k) William Muller.

Thanks Amy. Sometimes I think it is better to have these wild fantasy ideas of intrigue and deception, than what may be the grim reality of the 'truth'. Sometimes I do invest far too much time on these twigs.

if you've hit walls with main bits sometimes the twigs are only options you have if you want to do stuff. I know with my Lackey's from ireland (main line) i pretty much gave up on them a few years ago, have had the hint or record appear but a couple of weeks back i had someone message me about lackeys where i live so i've started looking into it and made a connection to some not all. But in the big gap ive done bits linked to other branches etc and even gone into siblings marriages and things.
