Record Office: help needed from a French speaker

    Can you help?
I am interested in finding out the owner of a piece of derelict land/developement in Lyon France

I have tried finding out myself, but with my lack of the French language I've got nowhere.

    The address possibly is:
2 Rue Louis et Marie Louis Baumer. Vaulx en Velin 69120 Lyon France

if you can help, its the piece of land at the very bottom of the road on the left had side (if you were looking at the Google map). There is a tarmac carpark and a disused building.

Thank you in advance for any help or information you can give.

    Hello,

The official plan that allocates a number to each parcel is called Cadastre.

You can view it here :
    https://cadastre.gouv.fr/scpc/rechercherPlan.do#

For the address you gave, you can then find Lot Number 401:
    https://cadastre.gouv.fr/scpc/affich...latileSession=

After that, you need to call the townhall (mairie) of Vaulx en velin (Tél : +33 (0)4 72 04 80 08) and ask them who the landlord ("propriétaire") is.

    rgds,

    Icha

      Hi Icha

Thank you so much for responding to my request. I've tried following your instructions and all I get is ' We found no results matching your search'.

I know I must be doing something wrong, but I just dont know what and I just keep going round in cycles.

I will try giving the Town Hall a call, maybe someone there may speak English

Again, thank you for trying to help me, its much appreciated

      Kind regards

      Tralena

I am so grateful for your help. I've found the place I am looking for and I will be getting someone to help me find the owner of the land. Without your aid I doubt I'd be able to do it.

Again, thank you so much. If ever I can help you with any quest you may have, please don't hesitate to ask.

          with kind regards
          Tralena
