    There are various articles on the base on the internet. I found a few on google. The Imperial War Museum could be a useful place to ask. They have various films of WW2 activity in Mombasa. A couple of ships are mentioned in the titles.

    My grandfather George Roberts served in WW2 in East Africa as a Chief Canteen Manager in the Navy. His service record shows he was in Mombassa rom Sept 43 to Nov 45 and I'm trying to find out about the base there and which ships he travelled on to get there and return home on. Any info appreciated
