  • 1921 Scotland census - bad news

From SP Facebook page three hours ago. More delays.

“We know everyone is keen to get an update on progress around the release of the 1921 Scottish Census. We are working hard on this and will be releasing the images on www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk and in the ScotlandsPeople Centre in the latter half of 2022.

In the meantime, we will continue to add new records across the site, including new Kirk Sessions records.

We’ll keep you updated on progress via our digital channels and more information about the Census is available here at the ScotlandsPeople website.”

Oh, that is a pity as I was really looking forward to a quite recent census, especially as the 1939 register isn't online in Scotland.
    Patience is a virtue!!!!!
Thanks for the heads up - I don't do facebook.
