    Help Needed

    Hello,these 2 pictures are for a project been done by the RSL (Return Soldiers League) and they would like them to be restored a coloured.
    So if someone could please attempt to help them and clean up and colour these 2 pics it would be greatly appreciated.
    The colours are :Army brown Uniform and Tie. Light
    brown Shirt. Black boots. Karky ankle spats. Gold/Brass
    Right lapel Badge and Belt buckles. Brown/Wood Rifle. Rifle strap
    light brown. Bayonet Steal colour. Bottom shoulder patch- red
    square, Gold crossed swords, small crown centre top of square. Patch above
    that one is - Yellow with black writing, Army brown Hat, with light
    brown hat band. Standing on green lawn, green tree in back ground.

    No one's willing to help the RSL,thats rather sad. :(

      You only just put the photos on here! Last time I looked there was no photo so I guess that's why there were no takers.

      I can't do that clever stuff so I hope someone can help you.

          I think the problem is the size of photo, Could you rescan at least 300 pdi. Then i am sure you will have more help

            That's strange because they didn't appear on my screen - must have been a glitch.

              Sorry,unable to rescan as i dont have the original photos and not sure who does have them,if someone could just clean them up a bit and maybe sharpen them that would be great...thanks again

              Edit: just noticed the pictures are gone again,not sure whats happening there.

                I have lightened them up for you Steve but there isn't a lot I can do about the reflection of the sun on the lens.....someone may come along and have another go.

                  2nd image.....

                  I will see what I can do about colour Steve.


                  Sorry Steve, the pictures are not accepting the colour very well at all, they appear to make him look more like a ghostly figure caked in make up......not natural at all. Hopefully if someone else can have a try, you may get a better result.
