Hi Everyone,

I am new to the forum, so please be sensitive to a newbie.

I am researching my 1st Cousin 3 times removed Arthur Bowler Reed 1858-1926
I just wondered if anyone who uses the forum is a descendant of Arthur who may have a photo they would be happy to share.
Or his father James Westbrook Reed - 1828-1876.

Also in the 1925 Phone Book records his address is refereed to as Museum W1 in London, does anyone know what area in London was known as "Museum"
Lastly with the address in the Phone Book it also states "All Films Review" does anyone know what this might mean at this time in this area of London

Welcome to the forum, If you check out your library on line you maybe lucky and have access to findmypast due to covid at home. I can see in the newspapers there are quite a few references to him in the papers.

I don't think you will be able to view until you have been a member for 10 days and have made 10 posts.

Looks like he worked for the distributor of films.

No idea about W1 and museum, my immediate thought was South Kensington and the museums but that is SW
