  • FreeBMD working ?

Evening all ! Finally research has commenced again.

Is FreeBMD working ? Not with me it isn't !

    Deaths being looked for :-

I'd guess that the reg district might well be around Lydbrook - Glos

    Thomas Williams (born abt 1830)

    Ellen Williams (born abt 1833)

Can anyone see in the years from 1891 - 1901. I certainly cannot find either of them in the 1901 Census.

    Thanks

    Simon

Simon, Is that Westbury on Severn District??

I can't see anything for Ellen. There's several to choose from for Thomas. :o

Are you sure neither are on the 1901?

English Bicknor (where they were in 1891) is in Monmouth district at that date.

best fit (there are others after 1901):

        William Williams
        Estimated Birth Year: abt 1830
        1895
        Q4
        Age 65
        Monmouth
        Volume 11a
        Page 14

But I can't see one for Ellen. If she moved house, then he might of too,so it's a difficult call!!

I'm confused - was Thomas also known as William, or is that just a typo where it says William Williams?

Most likely one between 1891 and 1901 is this one, then (not checked page number on image):

                    Sep 1896: Thomas Williams age 66 Monmouth vol 11a p 16.

                        There is this possible:

Mar 1899 Eleanor Williams age 65 Monmouth vol 11a p 27. (Again, I haven't checked the page number)
