When did she die? Have you looked for a remarriage for your grandfather?

      Nell,

I have no idea when she died and I can't find a re-marriage for him - sorry. As I've said, 'Janet' came out of the blue today.

Thanks Zoe - got up to 1966 and I couldn't see anything - please don't take too much of your time although I do appreciate it.

                Update!

                I'm so excited.

After trawling through the marriage records for what has seemed like years, I think I must have found the marriage:

David John Passe to Jennet Alban in 1942, July-Sep in Liverpool South. 'Jennet' is not a far cry from 'Janet' and the area is correct.

Needless to say, the certificate has been ordered and should give me more details on the elusive Janet/Nana(?)

Again, many thanks to all who helped.
