Is there anywhere that would have info. on streets/rds etc back in the early 1900's for Barnes, Surrey?

Probably an old a-z (if they go back that far) or street directory. They'd be in the Surrey History Centre I guess, or possibly a local history centre, or library.

If this is in connection with Railway Street, this description of the enumeration district might help you to identify where it was

White Hart Lane (not the one in Tottenham) is in the same enumeration district and its still there, you can find it on google maps.

There's a Railway Side running off WH Lane.

Railway street now no longer exists. It is where westfields avenue now is! I googled Barnes history and found a little website, so I emailed them and they emailed me back within 48 hours! I had also asked whether they could tell me if William (master tailor) had a shop, they have told me to try looking in kelly's directory for Barnes. Where and how can i access this?
                Thanks for your help again

There's a Kelly's Directory of Surrey for 1913 on Historical Directories.

thanks for that but i think i am being a bit thick. I am trying to find Teddington which is listed on that one you have given me but in brackets it says middlesex?

Middlesex is the old county which Teddington was in. It's nearly all been eaten up by the Greater London area, but Middlesex was the original county which all of London north of the river was in.
