                Just an after thought but would this help narrow down which Oscar and Abigail is correct.

                He died rather suddenly at his home, 22 Islip Street, Kentish Town, London, on 4 September 1867 at the age of seventy-two, leaving his widow and seven children

                The death is of Oscar and the addy might be useful

                  The widow and 7 children sound like Abby and her offspring. She and Oscar were living in Upper Newberry Place, Kentish Town, in 1861.

                  I think you're going to need to get the marriage and death certs to sort this out.
