Too many different versions online and nothing substantiated. Best guess if from a 4 Aug 1809 marriage register in Nelson Co, VA that lists a S.L. Fitzgerald who married a Mary Harper, Bartlett is listed for the security bond. Anyone have anything ? Trying to trace descendants for Y-DNA project
