    Help!!

    Hi all,
I have a branch that I just can't get my head around!
I'll give you what I have and then if anyone one wants to look/help I would appreciate it greatly

    Thomas Shepherd (Sheapheard/Shephard(e)) b. 1696, Bampton, Oxfordshire ( https://search.ancestry.co.uk/cgi-bi...33&usePUB=true )
Ancestry hints say that Ferdinando Shepharde is his father b. 1641 Bampton ( https://search.ancestry.co.uk/cgi-bi...=successSource ) who married Elizabeth Moulder in 1675 Bampton - however this is obviously after Thomas was born. Another tree has Ferdinando also marrying someone called Elizabeth Rawlins and has her as Thomas' mother but I cannot find a marriage for this?!
Ancestry then tells me that Ferdinando's father is also called Ferdinando Shephard but b. 1676 which is obviously wrong and I believe this is Thomas' brother?! There are no other hints when I say that this is not his father.
Looking at another tree I am now confused as to which BMD belongs to which Ferdinando as they have different dates to me ( https://www.ancestry.co.uk/family-tr...&usePUBJs=true )
