    Thanks val, yes this is Joel's widow and children on 1891c. As Joel died in 1890 he hasn't got much history so to speak. My problem is I can't trace him prior to 1881c and his marriage in 1880. I can neither trace his father Joseph. I have ordered a death certificate for a Joseph Watson Belper in 1879, with the hope that the informant may provide more information or a connection! Fingers crossed, thanks jane

        The only likely Watson occupation Nailer, I could find was named John not Joseph, born abt 1820 married to a Mary born abt 1820 Duffield Derby, not found a Joel Watson though, wonder if he was illegitimate?
