I have the ww2 service no I think for my dad, before I request the record I want to be sure I have the right details. Is there anyway I can confirm this before paying the £30 fee

That I would think would be hard to do, but I sent off for an uncle's years ago and they weren't listed under his real name so they could not find them ,but they did say whenever I find out what name he was under they would not charge me again .
Were any of his children born during the war? as his reg and number will probably be on the Birth Certs, my Fathers was.
