cant seem to find it....
I'm thinking it may have something to do with weaver??? would that be right ?

A Warper was a person who set the warp thread on the looms.
I'm sure someone on WDYTYA had an ancestor who worked on the looms and they discussed the warpers (might be wrong though)
EDIT - Just checked it was Bill Oddie - Ancestor was weaver in Rochdale
