Lydalls again!! [sorry!!] USA searching needed

mmm I just 'felt' that 272 Main had something to do with the Lydalls, I can see quite a few firms in there that I recognise, so maybe other members of the family used some company in that building, [I know that a few of them worked for Corbins that are in that building]


I was having a play with Helen V and trying to see if anything jumped out, I put in her birth 1898 Virginia and we can guess that she died 1941/2 from various bits of evidence, so using that info, in ancestry was looking at the results.. [i didn't put a surname inn the box at all].

am having a sift, but have to take the dog, but i'll be back in an hour.

If Mildreds mum was Esther then it's quite possible that was her middle name too.

I had a look in the Californian marriages but couldn't find anything that looked relevant.

I don't know how you have done it, but, you are amazing!! this is just brill.. so, we now have a rough date of 1933-1940 for the marriage of Edward & Matilda [I think from memory that it said that her home in 1935 was LA in one of the census 1940?]

I knew I knew Main Street!!! Walter E Lydall is living there in 1940! [but this is Main Street, HARTFORD, Conn] phew!!

I have been adding the other lydall family members to the tree.. and I have found a completely new person!! [and there is a chance that they might still be alive!]

I have a name/dob, but, am having a 'foggy day' so researching the person is a little bit hit and miss!..

I was just looking at it.. you are SUCH a star!.. looks like she died of Cancer poor soul..
