I hope that works. Looks a bit long winded.

It reads following a previous record: I also on the same day (19 July 1835) baptized Catherine aged 4 days. Daughter of Thos Lally and Catherine ?Mctominy

Vera is new to the forum Happy, and she is having a few problems editing her posts..

              :smilee:

re Catherine, I think that the best course of action would be to look in Goatstown parish records and see if a Catherine Lalley/Lally was bapt there around 1835.

or, if you haven't got an Ancestry sub then register with www.mundia.com and search the trees there for Henry/Catherine and see if anyone else has any more info.. [got to be worth a shot??]

Just me getting in a muddle Happy and needing a bit of advice on editing.

Also the record I posted could not be your Catherine Lally as it was of a child born in Canada

Just had to say thanks to you all for helping me research my great grandmother. Although we did`nt find where she was born, it has helped.
And i must say the image on your profile Darksecretz is really mysterious looking.

                  Thanks again
