When trying to find out more about the origins of WCL, I came across his place of birth (on the death registration for Evelyn I think??) I couldn't decipher the place name, so started a new thread to ask forum members for opinions.
Suggest you look at the thread and read what developed.
Would be interested in your response, in light of your family knowledge.
