    A local estate was built on the site of the large house and garden that had been the home for decades of a much-loved couple, who both contributed enormously to the community. The developer was planning to use some mundane name, but it was suggested that the little street should be called XXXX Close, using the surname of the couple who had lived there for so long. I'm glad to say that the developer had the imagination to take that on board, so the couple are commemorated indefinitely.
