I am trying to find the parents of John Middleton Ordish b 6 April 1922 Shardlow, Derbyshire without having to send for the birth certificate. Presume fathers surname was Ordish and know mothers surname was Middleton.
I think he might have had a brother, and maybe parents were elderly when they had John. Some where along the line in the past the family (not sure which side) lived on a farm near to Derby. Any ideas?:conf:
