I literally live round the corner from Newhill!!
That definitely looks like it could be them. My gut feel was always that they started in Yorkshire and moved to Staffordshire, before coming back. There's just too many Bramelds in the area before Henry came along, for that not to be the case.

I'll digest all your information and see if I can match any of the individuals to the sheet I've pulled together

Is Elizabeth not on either of the two census records further up? I presume not. The 1851 census she isn't present and the Elizabeth living with John on the 1841 presumably died if their son was an Orphan.

If I could just prove that Sarah was Henry's mother, I can probably say with some certainty that the shoemakers and pottery owners are part of the same family.

Sarah can't be Henry's mother then I don't think. On his marriage certificate, it said his father was called Thomas.

It all seems to fit though, really frustrating

I have no idea where the connection to your family might be but there is a definite link between Staffordshire and Yorkshire. Finding John should help in that perhaps John's father could lead to more brothers to bring forward but that means searching back into parish registers both Yorkshire and Staffs.
