I would say the vicar forgot his first name when filling in the record and left it blank to come back to fill in later but never did. If the Bishop's Transcripts are available he might have remembered by then.

has anyone else had this - why would it be blank when it clearly says 'and his wife Ann'? Frustrating haha!
