Hi all,

So I am taking a break from researching my grandfathers family tree as I am finding Jewish research can sometimes be very difficult.......very difficult!

I decided to look at my partners family tree, firstly I have looked at his fathers side of the family. His father was John Anthony Nightingale born Apr 1946, died Jun 2009, his father was Herbert Nightingale born Feb1911, died Mar 1983 who was married to Jane Bastable born 1911, died 1990. I have been told that Herbert had a brother that I have been unable to locate. I have found a brother John Nightingale who died when he was one year old and a sister Ellen Nightingale. I have been told this other brother was in the second world war.

Any help in finding another brother would be welcome.

If you use find my past you can see another brother born 1935, I wasn't sure if there was a possibility of him still being alive so didn't like to post

you only need to register to search - you don't need a sub, or you could try freeBMD
