    So the 2 George comments look right, and I think the marriage for Sarah is another of his sisters. The middle name Hellier quite unusual, and the date makes her 27 which is bang on.

    Not sure on the death. I do have a Thomas Dosson born 1795 that might be the husband- but I don't have any more info on him apart from a baptism. So not 100% on this one.

    I hadn't thought of using newspaper records - genious!

    this line is a little off direct so might have to leave the certs on a 'to do' pile. But I supposed there was nothing to stop people lying on these records too

      Ahh - there are 2 Sarah Hellier Dossons! And the newspaper marriage is not mine :(

        aww thought it might be a branch with the Hellier?

        At least you have a couple of sightings of George anyway and where he was living
