  • Help with a Great Yarmouth family (Morgan)

Mary Boulter was bp at Great Yarmouth in 1766, the eldest child of John Boulter (mariner) and his wife Mary. In December 1793 she married Richard Morgan at Great Yarmouth – both were single and otp, witnesses were James Boulter (Mary’s brother) and Jane Smith. The marriage was by licence, and the application recorded that Richard Morgan was a mariner, as was his fellow bondsman, James Boulter.
A daughter Mary Bowen (or Boycer) Morgan was born at Yarmouth in October 1796, but sadly she died two months later in December 1796. In 1798 the Morgans had a second daughter named Mary and a son Richard was born in May 1800. Both births were at Great Yarmouth.

The only other documentation I have for Richard Morgan sen is that he was a witness to the marriage of James Boulter at Yarmouth in 1799.
In 1841 Mary Morgan was recorded in Great Yarmouth – she lived alone, was 70 years old and was of independent means. She was buried at Yarmouth in May 1845, recorded as 82 years of age.

Can anyone find any additional information about Mary's husband Richard Morgan and the two children? (There are a couple of trees on Ancestry suggesting that Mary Morgan b 1798 married a William Morgan and had a daughter Mary Ann, who married and lived in Stepney. However, there is no clear documented chain of events and there has been confusion re other persons associated with this line.)
