      Have seen the two marriages 1849 Middleton Catherine Ward to James Hy Eastwood. Christiana Ward witness. Also ?John Verity. So Catherine possibly still in the area 1851.

          Possible for Christiana Ward in 1841 census

          Living Newton, Lancs on the Oldham Road, where Elijah and Mary lived at one time. It's a long road.

          At the same address as Hugh Shaw
