Thanks Vera. I guess the only way this could be "my" Alice is if she was living with Thomas as his wife although not really married. But it is more likely that this is the marriage of Alice Hitchings in 1830.

Ancestry have transcribed them as Watters with Thomas b Agle. With folio No 703

1851 ref HO107/2476/703/579 Thomas Walters and Alice and George. I can see the index for this group on FMP but don't have a sub to see the full details or the image. However I cannot find them in a search on Ancestry Library edition. Could some kind person with a sub to either or both sites look them up for me? The transcriber may have recorded Alice as Thomas's wife, but I think she may be a female servant called Jenkins and I am interested to see if that is a possible interpretation of the original.Tags: None
