Old Palace School Bombing New Website

For those that followed my research into the Old Palace School Bombing you will know that I have been researching this incident a long time. It’s still today the largest ever loss of life for the Fire Brigade. 34 Firemen and Women lost their life here.

I have created a website to commemorate the lives of all 34 firefighters and over the coming months will be posting biographies on all the firefighters m.

The website is in its infancy but any support you can give will be greatly appreciated

    Thank you

good writing. I think it would be handy, as your site grows, that should be 2 articles, one about the station, and one specific to him. As that would refer to all the firefighters, and interesting to know their pay and working arrangements. Just a thought.

Thanks, Carolyn, appreciate your thoughts. I have just finished an article today and ended up dividing that into two posts because it was too large. These two posts will cover the History (the before) and the incident itself. The second post will be about the funeral and what happened after that.

yes think if you go too long we, as a nation, seem to not be able to cope with long things!

When I worked rarely got a reply to a long email just the first paragraph.

Without doubt, the toughest and most emotional story so far, that I have written about the 34 firefighters who lost their lives. I urge to read this and not have a tear in your eye.
