Can you do a link to the page you are looking at? I can only find this one using your search parameters and it doesn't match your description (she's entry no. 10).

edit: ok found it now.

2nd edit: Ah.. on my second link the entry was crossed out through enumerator error and then transferred to my first link. It's clear there she was from Italy.

Don’t know about the crossing out and I’m struggling to make that name into anything but I don’t see it as Alberta Canton.
Saying that though if you search on ancestry as I did (easier on my phone) there are numerous people both male and female with the surname Canton, Cantin etc. on the 1911 and 1921 Canada censuses.
I saw one entry transcript only and one with an image. Both said she was Italian (Italienne).

It's on Familysearch. If you search for Alberta Canton she is the 5th from the top on the image, crossed out. Do you agree with the transcription that her name is really Alberta Canton? Does anyone know why some entries are crossed out?
Edit: I just noticed that there seem to be two transcriptions of this person, the first b in Italy and the second in Wales, which is why I was interested, and I will only be interested if she is Welsh. The country of birth is also hard to read.Tags: None
