ancestry hint - wow!

hi,
i have recently started looking at my great grandparents going back. 1 of my 5th great grandfathers (maternal line) but not really looked at before - had his name, dob, dod, marriages, kids and that about it. anyway, i've gone into him today and have a "tree match" hint - these normally have 2 or 3 other trees, well grandad has to be different (and difficult) there are 90 trees that he matches in!!! This totally shocked me as ive never had any so high.

does this mean that he is part of a very large family? had a very large family (maybe more kids than the 10 i know of) or something totally different?

has anyone else ever had such a high number?

Indeed-do! Some of my rellies are in well over 100 trees but to fair when I look at the whole list, a lot seem to be various date versions of the same tree and the owners have not culled the old versions.

i do plan to look through them all, especially as some may have extra snippets of info or photos.
