the martin circle

I have been trying to add surnames to some of the wives and in doing so I think I have done a complete circle. Michael Martin b 1739 is my 5th great grandfather and his brother Edward Martin b 1736 is my 8th great grandfather. I have the problem of ancestry only showing Edward as 5th great uncle and the father of Michael and Edward is James Martin and he is listed as 6th great grandfather

Ancestry has issues with collateral descent. It's just the programming.
