  • Tom or Thomas Chambers after 1911 please

I'm not sure what name he used in later life, Tom on birth and baptism, Thomas thereafter until I lose him after the 1911 census.

Birth and baptism record, both in Lincoln during 1881 quote forename as Tom
Dob from Baptism record is 29th May 1881

1908 Marriage record to Eliza Troop at Kettlethorpe, (Gainsborough RD) is in the name of Thomas, cert shows it to be the correct marriage.

1911 Census, Sutton Street, Lincoln; Thomas Chambers, Eliza wife and daughter Gladys aged 5 months (dob on baptism is 5th Oct 1910)

After that I've lost track of them entirely, there's possibly a son, Thomas H b1919 mmn Troop Lincoln from the birth index but I don't have a baptism record to prove/disprove it.

1939 is the same address as 1911 so that looks like him, no idea where the middle initial has come from. The odd one in the tree does that every now and then just to keep things amusing. Absolutely no idea on the death record but there's nothing obvious any closer to Lincoln that I've spotted so far and nothing in the burials/cremations that jumps out either.

Nothing coming up in probate which isn't a major shock, the news article is interesting as it at least indicates they moved sometime around WWII.
