  • Criminal register meanings

Hi all, just came across a record whilst looking for someone on a criminal register. There are some death sentances for burglary . Next to/under the word death (for the sentancing) there are some that say executed but some just have the letter R - what does that stand for/mean? Thanks from an intrigued lady

Reprieved? That’s just a guess - I’m sure someone who knows for definite will post the right answer...
