  • NSW Australia Convict Indents

Hi all, please can I have useful sites for looking these up (if there are any) as I don't have Ancestry WW?

    Thank you

If you Google “nsw convict indents” the first one that comes up is the official NSW record site. I am pretty sure it is for free too.

    Cheers.

Whoever said Seek and Ye shall find was not a genealogist.

Community driven database of convicts brought to Australia between 1787 and 1867.

I found the above link in the reference section of this site - FTF. Always an excellent starting point for research references and links.

Home page > forums > site information > reference information and how to guides > keep following the link and then look down the side bar on the right. Lots of really good information - in this case, I clicked on world index > Australasia > Australia etc.

Genealogists never die - they just swap places in the family tree
