Was only using IGI for above and just found marriage to Frank is on Anc. 22 Aug 1922 in Ohio, father James Jordan, mother Anna M. Jordan with a lot of the references I mentioned, so I won't add anymore for her!

Here are the two wills for the folks that might have been my missing Joseph. They are actually just the Letter of Adminstration in both cases so not much use.
The Methodist minister who died 1910 is definitely ruled out from children on censuses.
The ag. lab who died Springwell Farm 1897 is now also definitely ruled out. He was born Northumberland as per all of the censuses that he is on. He was first married to Jane GUY in 1848 at the parish church in Newburn, Northumberland. The childen 1851 and 1861 fit with GRO births. Jane presumably dies as in 1870, Joseph marries again as a widower to Scots born Mary JARDINE in Benwell, Northumberland. That one is transcript only. Mary brings to the marriage her illegitimate son Robert Calvert JARDINE. By the following year they have moved to Moor Mill, Bewicke Main, County Durham. Robert Calvert JARDINE is the same Robert MURRAY with Joseph and Mary in 1881 and 1891. In 1871 he is shown as Robert JARDINE, step son.
Only one baptism for Mary JARDINE on SP in the OPRs that fits with a father Robert. Good old Borders family names!
JARDINE MARY ROBERT JARDINE/JEAN ELLIOT FR254 (FR254) F 24/04/1826 784/ 20 32 Castleton (Roxburghshire) which is about 50 miles across the border from the area around Bolam where Joseph was known to be. The JARDINE family are already in Northumberland by 1851 but would you Adam and Eve it, they are on the image as JORDAN, however that's a complete co-incidence - probably an accent at work.
