Finding out relationship on someone else's Ancestry tree

Hi all, Happy New Year!
A question for a friend - is it possible to find out on someone else's tree that share's the same relatives how they are related to you? Is there some sort of search function?

No, you just have to work it out for yourself, although if you have both DNA tested it may show you how via Thrulines, (though even that can be fraught with errors depending on how accurate both trees are).

Can you not add them all to the tree? Or do you not know all to add, if that's the case I don't know how she knows they are related
