  • Missing family in 1939

    I have a missing/mystery household

From bmd I've found the 1920 marriage (Lincoln), and worked out there are 2 sons and 3 daughters born 1921-1933 in the Lincoln and Spilsby districts but the details are a bit sketchy

The only family member I can find in 1939 is a son named Harold E Casburn, born 1921, living in North Hykeham with his grandparents. He died in 1987 in at North Hykeham (Lincoln RD)

    The remaining family are missing
Harold E Casburn (abt 1888 possibly born in Leeds)
    Ethel Casburn (abt 1899)
A son born 1924 in Lincoln (possible death ref in Lincoln in 2002 but not verified)
A daughter in 1931 Spilsby RD (appears to marry in 1951)
A daughter in 1933 Spilsby RD (appears to marry in 1956)

Harold snr and Ethel are buried together in Lincoln, the 1924-1933 children may still be alive hence not being named but I can't find any trace of the family. I've tried a few variant spellings but come up blank.

That looks promising, I don't have any certs so no idea what he did for a job but there's a possible in 1911 at Gainsborough working as a railway porter, born 1888 at Leeds.
The railway occupation may explain a death for Harold in Bedford district in 1955.

I think I've found the 1924 son, marriage mistranscribed as Casbuon and what appears to be a death record and probate for him and his wife.
