  • thurrock records anybody?

I am looking to find more details in particular the father of the bride married 1941 Thurrock. Nellie Martin to Herbert Lawrence.
I have a DNA match but it makes no sense. She has Nellies parents as Albert W martin b 1873 and Clara Johnson b 1878. The marriage for theses 2 is 1887 so aged 14 and 9. I found Nellie on 1939 with parents Albert Martin and Clara but surely it cant be Clara Johnson........

There is an Albert and Clara Martin in Kent here:

    They have a son Harry.

There is a marriage here of a Harry Williams in Thurrock :

Father named as Albert William Martin

Not got any further than that, but could be your people

do you think you are connected to her wrong records, rather than Nellie?

I was just having another look at this case!!!
so far I have from 1939 register
                    Albert W Martin 9 july 1873
                    Clara Medhurst 3rd august 1878
                    Nellie Martin 14th july 1912

                    From 1911 census I have
                    Albert Martin aged 37
                    Clara aged 33
                    Harry Martin aged 8

I still cant work out the connection and as per usual no response from tree owner/dna match.
I am about to try to work back with Albert martin to see if I can connect him somewhere in my Martin collection
