FMP only has a transcription so just the same info as you already posted.
ancestry has the image. Groom’s father is George Osbourn (frame work knitter). Same occupation for the bride’s father, Francis White.
The groom was a labourer, age 22, the bride no occupation, age 17 and both lived in New Basford.
Witnesses were James Shelbourn and ?Sarah? Henson.

Huh! I looked on st Leodegarius and the records only went up to 1812. So that has put paid to that record then. Rats!

I think that these two are the same person... and that he fibbed about being a widower, I cant spot a death for Mary Ann Osborn either... just the way my day is going.

ancestry again has the image but it’s been indexed as ASBORN and HICKHING.
Marriage date 26 November 1871
He is still a labourer residing Charles Street and (something I omitted to transcribe last time - apologies), he could not read or write as he made his mark. The bride had no occupation, spinster, age 24, resided in Gedling Street, father William Hickling (labourer). She also made her mark.

oooh you are a clever bod... I didn't see that record... I'm sure that Ancestry is conspiring against me!...

but then again the other marriage records weren't coming up in the search.... so now there is the 1877 marriage that just doesn't appear to be anywhere.. so might that be a reg office job?
