  • Location of Burial

Hi everyone, does anyone know if it is possible to find the location of a burial, I have discovered a new relation, who appears to have died at birth, as I have no living relativies on that side of the family to ask I appear stuck. I al looking for details of a Lilly Sidwell born approx 1920, to Maud Annie Sidwell and Harry Sidwell, she also had two other children, Alma born born 1921, Harold (Harry) my dad born 1927, Any help would be appreciated.

Haven’t found anything on ancestry, FMP, findagrave or deceasedonline. There is a public tree on ancestry but no details other than birth and death index references.

Nothing in FMP newspapers either. Searched Yorkshire as county and 1926 January and February, March and April. The death index says 1926 1Q aged 0 so covered the three months in the quarter plus April in case she died in the last few days of March but not buried till the following week.

looks like a lot of the records are still with Doncaster £26 seems a lot to me, but I am quite tight!

https://www.doncaster.gov.uk/service...s-or-cremation I am assuming the records are not digital.

FMP says they have some, but like GL says doesn't seem to be on there

You could email the doncaster council and give them the details of the child, asking them to check burial and cremation registers. Most councils will do the search, and usually for free.

always ask for burial and cremation registers, some councils will only check the burials unless specifically asked to check both.
