    only by using Keyword box - make sure that you are in the record set - later census are better than earlier ones, and it is down to a bit of luck, and not being too common name.

    Or if you find someone in the road with a 'good' name on a later census - they maybe in the census before.

    I have often found by googling too, and finding some on their tree or researching etc.

      Thanks cbcarolyn, someone on a FB past and present page in my area was asking about a pub's history and was going to look it up on the census' but didn't know how
