  • Anyone decypher this please?

    Cassandra Lee is a shop keeper in Fore Hamlet. Can anyone read what it says above Fore Hamlet please? I don't feel confident with what I think it may say.

    It looks like unnumbered to me, but that doesn't really make sense, does it!

      The transcript on ancestry says her address is ”Fore Hamlet unnumbered” as OC says. It just means that the particular building or door she lived at had no street number or house name either by the look of it.

        Yes, without looking at what others said I decided on unnumbered too. The other dwelling have numbers but this one does not.
