I just read on another forum that Fold3 is free for the next 3 days. Hope that is right.

Didn’t know that. It wouldn’t open for me inside of ancestry yesterday. Will go have a look again.

It works now. Thank you. The card was not for the man I was hoping it would be but it turns out to be another of the many Davids in the same extended family so a result.

I clicked through on one last night and was most surprised to see it open....was like a magic door! That makes sense!
